Most returns don't have to end in a refund

When a customer starts a return, WPReturns can offer store credit with a bonus or a straight exchange. The refund is still there if they want it. Your team handles every request, label and email from wp-admin.

  1. 01The customer asks

A shopper finds order #1042 in the guest portal, picks the overshirt and chooses store credit.

  2. 02You approve it

The request arrives in wp-admin with the items, the reason and any photos. You approve it from the next step card.

  3. 03The money stays in your store

The credit goes out as a coupon or Wallet balance, and the customer spends it in your store.

Questions people ask

Ask the team or read the docs if your question is not here.

What is WPReturns?

WPReturns is a WooCommerce plugin by DevDiggers for returns, exchanges, store credit, warranty claims, order cancellations and the EU withdrawal button. Customers start requests from My Account or a guest portal, and your team handles each one on its request screen in wp-admin.

Can I move my requests from another returns plugin?

Yes. The Import tab copies return, cancellation, warranty and EU withdrawal requests from 10 WooCommerce returns plugins, with their items, dates and messages. It is in the free plugin and only reads the old data.

Is there a free version?

Yes, the free plugin covers the returns portal, partial returns with photos and refunds with restock through WooCommerce. It also has final-sale items and the complete EU withdrawal button. Pro adds store credit, exchanges, warranty, rules, labels, fraud flags, analytics and the REST API.

How much does WPReturns Pro cost?

Pro is $99 a year for 1 site, $249 for 5 sites and $399 for 10 sites. Every plan includes every feature, a year of updates and a year of support. There are no per-return fees and no revenue share.

Do I need the EU withdrawal button?

If you sell to consumers in the EU or EEA, yes. Directive (EU) 2023/2673 requires online shops to offer a withdrawal function since June 19, 2026. WPReturns adds it with the two-step flow, the acknowledgement email and a log, and it is part of the free plugin.

Can guests return items without an account?

Yes. The guest returns portal finds the order by order number and billing email. Guests get a private link to follow their request, read your messages and download a return label.

How is this different from Loop or AfterShip?

Loop and AfterShip are Shopify apps priced by the month, some with per-return fees. WPReturns runs inside WooCommerce on your own server for a flat yearly price. Your order and customer data stay in your database.

Does it work with HPOS and the block checkout?

Yes. WPReturns supports High-Performance Order Storage and the legacy order tables, plus the block and classic checkout. It needs WordPress 6.5, PHP 7.4 and WooCommerce 9.0 or newer, and it is tested up to WordPress 7.1 and WooCommerce 11.2.

Can I issue store credit instead of refunds?

Yes. Credit is paid as a single-use coupon tied to the customer email or as DevDiggers Wallet balance with an optional bonus. EU withdrawals and cancellations always refund to the original payment method.

Does WPReturns create shipping labels?

Yes. WPReturns buys prepaid return labels from your own EasyPost or Shippo account, by hand or automatically on approval. You can also upload a label file per request and print a return slip with a QR code for your warehouse.

Where is customer data stored?

Requests, messages and withdrawal statements live in your WordPress database. Customer photos go to a private folder with random file names and are only served to the customer and your team. The plugin sends no store data to DevDiggers.
