License
Both WPReturns plugins are GPLv3 or later. A Pro license key delivers updates and support for the sites your plan covers.

WPReturns and WPReturns Pro are both released under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. The free plugin costs nothing and runs on any number of sites. A WPReturns Pro license key gives you a year of updates and support for the sites your plan covers.
The DevDiggers Terms and Conditions govern every Pro license and win if this page differs.
The free plugin
The free WPReturns plugin is released under the license “GPLv3 or later”. You can use it on as many sites as you like.
It needs no license key. It contains no license checks, no update checks and no telemetry. WordPress updates it from wordpress.org like any other plugin.
Support for the free plugin runs on the wordpress.org support forum.
WPReturns Pro
The WPReturns Pro code is also licensed “GPLv3 or later”. You buy it from DevDiggers on devdiggers.com with a commercial license key.
The license key does three things:
- It turns on the Pro features on your site.
- It delivers WPReturns Pro updates through the WordPress updates screen.
- It gives you access to DevDiggers support through the ticket system.
WPReturns Pro works only while its license is active, as the DevDiggers terms set out for every annual license.
Plans
| Plan | Sites | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pro 1 site | 1 | $99 per year |
| Pro 5 sites | Up to 5 | $249 per year |
| Pro 10 sites | Up to 10 | $399 per year |
Every plan includes every Pro feature, a year of updates and a year of support. The Pricing page shows current prices.
What counts as a site
A site is one WordPress installation where you activate your license key. The 5-site and 10-site plans let you activate the same key on up to 5 or 10 installations at once.
Moving to a new domain or server is fine. Deactivate the license from your account at devdiggers.com/my-account and activate it on the new site.
For staging sites, local copies or WordPress multisite networks, ask DevDiggers before you buy.
Renewals
A WPReturns Pro license is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The DevDiggers terms state that annual licenses renew automatically. If you do not want a renewal, you need to cancel it yourself before the renewal date.
Renewals are billed at the renewal price in effect at the time. A discount on your first purchase does not carry over to renewals. A renewal payment has the same 14-day refund window as a new purchase.
When a license expires
WPReturns Pro stops working on your site when your license expires or is canceled. That includes its storefront, emails, automation, REST API and webhooks.
Pro checks the license with devdiggers.com in the background. You do not need to do anything for this to happen.
No request, customer record or setting is deleted. To keep the free features running, deactivate WPReturns Pro. The free WPReturns plugin then takes over returns and the EU withdrawal button with your existing data.
These stop as well:
- Plugin updates, including security fixes and compatibility updates for new WordPress and WooCommerce versions
- Support from the DevDiggers team
Renewing your license turns WPReturns Pro, updates and support back on straight away.
What the GPL does not cover
The GPL covers the plugin code. The WPReturns and DevDiggers names, logos, product names, design assets and imagery belong to DevDiggers Technologies. You need written permission from DevDiggers to use them.
Buying a license gives you the right to use WPReturns Pro on the sites your plan covers for your license period. It does not transfer any intellectual property to you.
